The hand-coloured images used in the video were sourced from an archive of black and white photographs collected over two months in Kathmandu. The use of hand-coloured images gives the video a unique and authentic feel, making it a perfect representation of the rich history and culture of Nepal.

The video also features an incredible local Sarangi artist who sings a song that brings the story of the 70 years of U.S.-Nepal friendship and people-to-people connections between Americans and Nepalis to life. The use of a local musician adds a unique and authentic touch to the video, highlighting the importance of cultural exchange between countries.

The music for the video was produced by Kobid Bazra, Riken Maharjan, Samyog Regmi, and Joey Foster Ellis, and the lyrics are based on the themes of History, Democracy, Prosperity, Stability, and Friendship. The use of popular folk songs from America such as “If You Want To Sing Out”, “If I Had A Hammer”, This Little Light Of Mine”, “You Are My Sunshine” and “This Land Is Your Land” adds a familiar and relatable touch to the video, dealing with both political and non-political aspects of the themes.

The video is an excellent representation of the 70-year diplomacy between the United States and Nepal. It showcases how the themes of History, Democracy, Prosperity, Stability, and Friendship are interconnected and how they have strengthened the bond between the two countries.

In conclusion, the video is a true celebration of the friendship between the United States and Nepal. By highlighting the importance of international friendship, history, democracy, prosperity, and stability, the video serves as a reminder of the value of relationships between countries and their people.
